Introduction to Computer Tech

In this unit you will be introduced to the Computer Tech course, rules, procedures and syllabus. You will also set up your accounts to PBWorks, Kidblog, Edmodo, and Schoology and learn how to use these applications.

Student will be able to:

Setup an account in Edmodo, Kidblog, PBWorks, and Schoology. Send a message and link,  to the class group on Edmodo. Write a basic blog post then share the link on Edmodo and PBWorks. Create and setup a website using PBWorks. This website will have a page for their grade and pages for each class they are taking during the school year. The grade page will be linked to the main page and each class page will be linked to the grade page.

Materials

Students will need to create an email account using either Google or Yahoo. Google is preferred because it creates an account to other Google services. Both are free to create and use.
